Background
	These recordings use a “long-lost” mathematical technology proposed by John "Longitude" Harrison in the 1770's, and derived from the number pi. Harrison's writings were rediscovered in 1986 by Charles Lucy and research to refine their musical application has continued for the past twenty years.
Practical applications
	It has been found that the low frequencies generated by LucyTuning calm the listener and the slowing tempos and keys encourage changed levels of consciousness. The tracks on each collection are arranged in a descending order. To calm a wide-awake listener, begin playing from track 1. For those already more relaxed, begin playing from a later track e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5. The tempo and tuning will thereby match the current relaxation level of the listener and as the music progresses listeners should further relax into sleep. The world's finest lullabies have been made with specially modified instruments and software to play LucyTuned music. This particularly consonant tuning generates extremely low frequency “beating”, which encourages the brainwave patterns which are found in deep-relaxation and sleep.
